Adding An Activity From The Activity Library

Feature Summary

In addition to the complete set of activities currently in your class calendar, the Activity Library includes additional Warm-Ups and Coding Exercises for each lesson. You can add additional activities or swap out the activities in your calendar to better fit the needs of your students

With the Activity Library, teachers can:

• Provide additional practice for the whole class or individual students by assigning it. Read more about assigning to individual students here...
• Provide students who are added in the middle of the course with select activities and assign it just to them so they can easily access earlier material to catch up.
• Add activities from a previous course as review. 

How to use

Video Overview: Adding an activity

Steps

1. Hover over the bottom of the current content on a day.
   
2. Use the Lesson navigation on the left to go to a specific Lesson.
3. Use the Activity type dropdown to select a specific Activity type.
4. Toggle "Show activities from Lesson Plan" in the top right to easily see what is on your Lesson Plan or not. 
   
5. Select an activity that you would like to add from the Activity Library. 
   
6. Click "ADD" in the bottom right. 

• Activity is added to the bottom of the day. 
  

Replacing an activity

1. Click on an Activity tile to open the Activity Info Dialog
2. Click Replace
   
3. A warning will appear that replacing an activity will lose all student progress on the given activity. 
   
4. Select the activity you would like to use to replace the current activity. 

Deleting an activity

1. Click on an Activity tile to open the Activity Info Dialog
2. Click Delete
   
3. A warning will appear that deleting an activity will lose all student progress on the given activity.
