Coding Exercises are larger programs that give students a sense of how new concepts and techniques fit into the context of coding and why they are useful.
Coding Exercises are flexible in how you choose to lead them. We recommend you allow students to code on their own, work independently or in small groups. Depending on the needs of your students, you may also choose to lead the coding in front of the class, having students type along with you and using the questions posed in Teach Assist to facilitate discussions throughout.
