Worksheets Currently Offered
Students will analyze and correct a variety of Python coding errors they may encounter throughout Unit 1 of the TechSmart curriculum.
We recommend having students complete this activity once they have completed Lesson 1.3 - Expressions.
Students will analyze and correct a variety of Python coding errors they may encounter throughout Unit 2 of the TechSmart curriculum. This activity expands on debugging practices from Unit 1 by further examining logical errors; allowing students to explain why a program can run without error, but not work as intended.
We recommend having students complete this activity during Lesson 2.6 - Debugging.
Students will analyze and correct a variety of Python coding errors they may encounter throughout Unit 3 of the TechSmart curriculum. Students will also engage in program analysis and prediction, vocabulary comprehension, and compare and contrast thinking.
The Unit 3 worksheet document is organized by Lessons within Unit 3 to allow for staggered debugging practice throughout the unit.
We recommend having students complete each Lesson worksheets once they have completed that Lesson within Unit 3.

Lesson Debugging Unit 1-2 Guided Notes
Lesson Debugging Guided Notes give students applicable code debugging practice for each Lesson in Unit 1 and 2 of the CS101 course. Each page in the guided notes presents students with common code bugs found within each Lesson.
We recommend completing each page in the guided notes packet at the end of each Lesson or at the start of the next Lesson as review.
Paper copies of the Program Analysis assignments on the TechSmart platform. These worksheets also allow students to practice writing descriptive, but concise comment headers for each code section.
Note: "Ten Guesses" does not have a platform-based Program Analysis assignment in Lesson 2.7. "Last Cookie" and "Card Wars" do.
